Delegates from Chinese water authority visit Mannheim for final inspection and acceptance of VAG RIKO® Plunger Valves

Last week, VAG welcomed employees from the Chinese water authority who had made the way from China for the final inspection and acceptance of a total of six RIKO® Plunger Valves with a diameter of 1.60 m and another ten VAG control valves with diameters ranging from DN 800 to DN 1400.

 

In the coming week, the valves will go on their journey by ship to Dahuofang which is 9000 km away from Mannheim. When they arrive there, the control valves will control the flow in a long-distance water supply pipeline with a rate of 41m³/s over a length of 225 km in the Chinese province of Shenyang.

 

 

Besides inspecting and accepting the valves, the Chinese delegation was also able to gain some insights into VAG’s product range and the excellent solutions provided by VAG-Armaturen GmbH during a visit to the VAG Visitor Center. The delegates were highly enthusiastic about the display of valves in operation and the presentation of the various areas of application.
