VAG at the benin water fair in Cotonou 2008

 

On the occasion of the congress of the African Water Association, which is held every two years, an international water fair took place in Cotonou (Benin, Africa) from 25 to 28 February 2008 and it was attended by over 5000 visitors.

 

Besides the manufacturers of pumps, pipes, valves and fittings, exhibitors included consulting engineers for water supply systems, sales agencies and plant constructors displaying their products and services on a surface of 2000 m².

 

VAG Armaturen GmbH was able to present itself not only as a manufacturer of valves but first and foremost as the provider of solutions in the water supply and waste water disposal areas. Visitors were particularly attracted by the BAIO demonstration section with daily assembly demonstrations and solutions as well as by the very illustrative presentations on the issue of VAG Pressure Management.

Highlights during the trade fair included the visit of the Benin Home Secretary, the Water Minister and the president of the LAAE (African Water Association) to the VAG stand. All three were very interested in the functionalities of the BAIO system.
