On a stand surface of 150 m2 JMA (a subsidiary of the VAG Group) presented itself at the Czech trade fair “Vodovody – Kanalizace 2008” in Brno held from 20 to 23 May. With over 317 exhibitors coming from 12 different countries and over 10,500 visitors, the “VODKA” is considered to be the most important exhibition of the water supply industry in Eastern Europe. Besides the exhibition of valves and the supply of information materials the expert visitors were presented with a lot more at the JMA stand.

At the beginning of 2008, Halder Beteiligungsberatung GmbH (Investment Consultancy), together with the VAG Management acquired VAG-Armaturen GmbH Mannheim from Equita Management GmbH in the framework of a management buyout. This transaction is subject to approval by the Federal Cartel Authority. By this transaction, VAG’s experienced management further increased its interest in the company.
