The Mannheim "Nacht der Unternehmen" was held on 23 November. During the evening of the event, visitors also had the chance to experience VAG live.

VAG employees informed them about VAG products and career opportunities at the trade show stand in the John Deere Forum. Various competition activities and a demonstration VAG EKN® butterfly valve aroused visitors' interest in the traditional Mannheim company. Close cooperation with the "Delta Racing Team" of Mannheim University also enabled guests to get information about the project direct from the VAG stand.

Many visitors took the opportunity of using one of the four shuttle buses to visit the companies on site. Guided tours through the Visitor Center and the Production Department were on offer from the afternoon on, into the late evening hours. Refreshments were also provided for the guests. Bags with popcorn, filled up at VAG, were distributed at the trade show stand. Thanks to the take-away muffins, pretzels, fruit and beverages on offer, no visitor had to leave us hungry in spite of the tight shuttle bus timetable.

Motoring enthusiasts among the visitors were given the chance to take a close look at the "Delta Racing Team" racing cars. The members of the team were available to answer visitors' questions and give them detailed information on the project.

VAG welcomed around 200 interested visitors during the event, including pupils of the Geschwister-Scholl technical secondary school and students at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology and Kaiserslautern Technical University.
