Repairs
To support work that is carried out on your valves on-site, VAG's Plant Service has a comprehensive service and product offering. All of the standard valves are refurbished at the plant.
All of the required material tests, final inspections and analyses, deposit welding and styrene, dismantling, mounting, and corrosion operations are carried out in collaboration with our technical department and the valve assembly department. Before the refurbished valve is sent back to its plant, it is submitted to a rigorous test procedure that ranges from the mechanical machining to pressure tests on the stability and tightness of the housing through to their technical certification (TÜV certificate).
During repair, valves used in nuclear plants are tested according to approved inspection plans and the refurbishment is constantly monitored by the customer and/or the Technical Monitoring Association. Repair parts are integrated in the valve manufacturing process and treated as new parts. These parts have the same guarantee they have when they are used in new valves.
You will, of course, receive a findings-based cost estimate before the repairs start, and, if you wish, we can also send you a findings report with repair and optimisation suggestions.
