06/14/2010 - Keep moving: VAG starts 10,000 steps campaignUnder the motto “We do not only move water but keep moving ourselves”, VAG initiated a “10,000 steps team competition”. Its target was to collect as many steps as possible over a period of five weeks. 10,000 steps per day was the suggested standard. [ Read more ] |

05/12/2010 - VAG Spring Conference 2010 - Volcano ash also affects VAGOf the originally enrolled 80 participants from 35 countries, 39 participants eventually managed to reach VAG’s headquarters in Mannheim this year. The closure of the airspace over Europe caused by the ash coming from the eruption of the Icelandic volcano made travelling to Mannheim impossible for many participants. [ Read more ] |

02/17/2010 - First symposium on “Valves in Nuclear Power Plants”From 9 to 10 February 2010, the first symposium on the subject of valves in nuclear power plants took place at VAG’s Mannheim headquarters.
During the two-day event, guests from ten German nuclear power plant locations attended expert talks, went on a guided tour through VAG’s Visitor Center and were also able to gain insights into the manufacture of special valves at the Mannheim plant. [ Read more ] |
